Burger King Athlone

I had a incredibly disappointing experience at this location today regarding both customer service and basic transaction honesty.

I was redeeming a standard Burger King receipt review coupon. Although the terms on the back of the bill clearly state the coupon is valid for either a Whopper or a Chicken Royale, the staff member at the kiosk flatly refused to let me order a Plant-Based Whopper and insisted I could only get a Royale.

Worse than the coupon issue was the attitude and how my cash change was handled. Because I was using a promotional coupon, I was treated with visible disrespect. When handing back my change, the staff member kept a €10 note in their hand and only handed me the coins. I literally had to ask for the rest of my cash before they finally handed over the €10 note. Whether this was a deliberate attempt to shortchange me or extreme carelessness, it is completely unacceptable.

I expect better training for staff regarding both coupon policies and basic customer respect. I will be contacting corporate support with my receipt anyways.

all ways good . only time you will maybe have problems is at closing time . still good but you can taste the difference overly salty. but cant blame them as it was 10 min before closing + there was a group of kids giving them problems they had been there over an hour .shouting blocking the exit door trying to get under the staff skin . props to the staff for putting up with all that and still making food for the late comers
